Autoship Terms and Conditions

1. PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND DEFINITIONS
By enrolling in Visible Science's Autoship & Save program ("Autoship & Save"), you agree to these terms and conditions ("Terms"). This is a negative option program where your failure to cancel will result in automatic shipments and charges.
Key Definitions:
- Autoship & Save Program: Recurring delivery of products at intervals you select
- Negative Option Feature: Your enrollment in automatic recurring shipments and billing
- Material Terms: All terms related to pricing, shipping frequency, cancellation rights, automatic renewals, and Autoship & Save discounts
2. YOUR CONSENT TO SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Automatic Renewal Consent: By completing your subscription purchase, you provide your express, informed consent to the automatic renewal feature of this subscription. This consent is separate from your agreement to purchase the initial product.
Payment Credential Storage Consent: By completing your subscription purchase, you consent to Visible Science storing your payment information for future automatic payments as part of this subscription, as disclosed during checkout.
Modification of Consent: You may withdraw your consent and cancel your subscription at any time using the methods described in Section 6 below.
3. SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS AND PRICING
Available Subscription Frequencies:
- 1-unit packages: Delivered monthly (every 30 days)
- 3-unit packages: Delivered every 3 months (every 90 days)
- 6-unit packages: Delivered every 6 months (every 180 days)
Autoship & Save Pricing: As an Autoship & Save member, you receive discounted pricing on all shipments compared to one-time purchase prices. The specific discount amount varies by product and may change over time with advance notice as described below.
Price at Purchase: You will be charged the Autoship & Save price displayed during checkout for your initial order. Future shipments will be charged at the then-current Autoship & Save price for your selected product and quantity.
Price Change Notifications: We will provide at least 30 days advance written notice before any material price increases to your subscription. Price changes will not affect shipments that have already been authorized for processing.
4. BILLING AND PAYMENT PROCESSING
Initial Payment: Your first order will be processed and charged immediately upon enrollment at the Autoship & Save discounted price.
Subsequent Billing: Your selected payment method will be charged approximately 24-48 hours before each scheduled shipment at the then-current Autoship & Save discounted price.
Payment Method Requirements: You must provide a valid credit card, debit card, or other approved payment method. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all subscription fees and applicable taxes.
Payment Method Updates: If your payment method expires, is declined, or becomes invalid:
- We may use any other valid payment method on your account
- We may attempt to update your payment information through card network updating services (Visa Account Updater, Mastercard Automatic Billing Updater)
- We will notify you to update your payment information
- Your subscription may be paused until valid payment information is provided
Failed Payment Processing: If payment fails after multiple attempts, we will notify you and provide 72 hours to update your payment method before pausing your subscription. Paused subscriptions will not resume until valid payment information is provided.
5. ADVANCE NOTIFICATIONS AND MODIFICATION WINDOWS
Pre-Shipment Notifications: You will receive email notification at least 3 days before each shipment containing:
- Upcoming shipment details and pricing
- Scheduled ship date
- Direct link to modify or cancel your subscription
- Clear cancellation instructions
Order Modification Window: You may modify or cancel your upcoming shipment until 48 hours before your scheduled ship date through your Autoship & Save Manager or by calling customer service.
6. CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND PROCEDURES
Your Right to Cancel: You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, without penalty. Cancellation will stop all future shipments and billing.
Easy Cancellation Methods: You may cancel through any of these methods:
- Online (Recommended): Login to your Autoship & Save Manager at https://secure.visiblescience.com/customer-login and click "Cancel Subscription" - processed immediately
- Phone: Call 1-800-950-7111 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM EST) for immediate processing
- Contact Form: Submit cancellation request via Contact Form - we will process within 48 business hours and send confirmation
Same Medium Cancellation: If you signed up online, you can cancel online immediately. If you signed up by phone, you can cancel by phone or online.
Cancellation Processing:
- Online cancellations are processed immediately
- Phone cancellations are processed during the call
- Contact form cancellations are processed within 48 business hours
- You will receive email confirmation of your cancellation within 48 business hours
No Retention Obstacles: During cancellation, we may offer incentives to continue your subscription, but:
- You may complete cancellation at any time by simply stating your intent to cancel
- We will process your cancellation immediately without obstruction or delay
- Retention offers will not obstruct or delay the cancellation process
- You are not required to listen to or respond to any retention offers
Voicemail Cancellations: If you leave a voicemail requesting cancellation, we will process your cancellation or return your call within one business day.
7. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION REMINDERS
For Subscriptions Shipped Every 6 Months or Less Frequently: If your subscription ships every 180 days or longer, you will receive an annual reminder email at least 30 days before your subscription anniversary containing:
- Your current subscription details and pricing
- Upcoming renewal date and amount to be charged
- Direct link to modify or cancel your subscription
- Copy of these Terms and Conditions
- Customer service contact information
8. MATERIAL CHANGES AND ADVANCE NOTICE
Types of Material Changes: We will provide at least 30 days advance written notice of any material changes to:
- Subscription pricing or discount amounts
- Shipping frequency options or delivery terms
- Cancellation policies or procedures
- These Terms and Conditions
- Product formulations or specifications that substantially alter the product
- Return policy terms or timeframes
Notice Method: Material change notices will be sent by email to your account email address and prominently displayed in your Autoship & Save Manager dashboard.
Your Rights Upon Material Changes:
- If you do not agree to material changes, you may cancel your subscription without penalty before the changes take effect
- Changes will not affect shipments already authorized for processing
- You will have at least 30 days from notice to decide whether to continue your subscription
Non-Material Changes: We may make non-material changes to these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
9. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Service Area: Autoship subscriptions are available for delivery within the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international addresses.
Shipping Methods: We will select the most appropriate shipping method for your products. Shipping costs, if any, will be disclosed during checkout and included in your subscription charges.
Delivery Timeframes: Standard delivery is typically 3-7 business days from ship date. Actual delivery times may vary based on location and shipping method.
Address Changes: You may update your shipping address at any time through your Autoship & Save Manager or by contacting customer service. Address changes must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled ship date.
10. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Product Availability: Subscriptions are subject to product availability. If a subscribed product becomes permanently unavailable, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and offer alternatives or cancellation options.
Temporary Shortages: In case of temporary shortages, we may delay shipment until product is available or offer suitable substitutions with your consent.
Product Changes: If we make significant changes to product formulations, we will notify you in advance and provide options to modify or cancel your subscription.
11. RETURNS AND 180-DAY TOTAL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Return Policy: All products shipped through the Autoship program are subject to our 180-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee available at https://www.visiblescience.com/pages/returns.
180-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee: We offer a 180-day satisfaction guarantee on all products from your most recent order. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return products within 180 days of delivery for a full refund of the product cost.
Return Eligibility:
- Unopened products: Each unopened item qualifies for full refund
- Opened products: Each different product/flavor qualifies for full refund, but only one opened unit per same product/flavor qualifies for refund
Return Requirements:
- Returns require prior authorization (RMA) by calling 1-800-950-7111 or submitting online request
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (typically $15-30)
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Returns must be received within 195 days of delivery date
- All returns subject to inspection
Subscription Refunds:
- If you cancel your subscription, you will not be charged for future shipments
- Refunds for shipped products are subject to our 180-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee
- Returned Autoship & Save products do not affect future shipment schedule unless requested
- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days of receipt and approval

13. LEGAL PROVISIONS AND INTEGRATION
Integration with Terms of Service: These Autoship & Save Terms supplement and are governed by our main Terms of Service. In case of any conflict between these Autoship & Save Terms and our Terms of Service, these Autoship & Save Terms will govern subscription-related matters.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes related to your subscription will be resolved according to the dispute resolution procedures in our Terms of Service, including any arbitration provisions.
Regulatory Compliance: This subscription program complies with all applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, including the FTC Negative Option Rule and state automatic renewal statutes, as detailed in our Terms of Service.
Record Keeping: We maintain subscription records as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, including consent records, transaction history, and customer communications.
Limitation of Liability: Subscription services are subject to the limitation of liability provisions in our Terms of Service. Our liability for any subscription-related issues is limited to the amount you paid for the affected shipment(s).
Additional Legal Terms: Additional provisions including governing law, severability, transferability, and other legal terms are set forth in our Terms of Service and apply to your subscription.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: By completing your subscription purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Autoship & Save Terms and Conditions and our Terms of Service. You confirm that you understand this is a recurring subscription that will continue until you cancel, and you consent to the automatic renewal and payment storage features described herein.
Digital Receipt: A copy of these Terms and your specific subscription details will be sent to your email address for your records.
